Jennie Edmundson Foundation’s (JE Foundation, jehfoundation.org) 2023 Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend Golf Tournament and Gala are set for Saturday, August 5. Each year, they celebrate and honor four individuals who will share their stories of courage during their battles with cancer. This year Jennie Edmundson Foundation will honor Rita Epperson, Brent Malskeit, Fran Shorey and Marlene Turner.
As they raise funds for the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Spirit of Courage Cancer Charitable Patient Care Fund through the JE Foundation, they reflect back on the number of patients and families they have been able to help and support for over the last 21 years. The funds raised have allowed patients to continue their treatments that may have stopped due to limited or no insurance.
Through the generosity and support of donors, like yourself, the Cancer Charitable Patient Care Fund is available to assist these patients by paying for medications, treatments and deductibles as well as everyday living expenses such as groceries, rent and gas.
