The 2024 Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend Golf Tournament and Gala is set for Saturday, August 3. Each year, Jennie Edmundson Foundation (jehfoundation.org) celebrates and honors four individuals who will share their stories of courage during their battles with cancer. This year, the foundation will honor four special individuals to be recognized at its 2024 event, Travis Meier, Kathy Runde, Terry Thomas and Stacia Thompson.
As Jennie Edmundson Foundation raises funds for the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Spirit of Courage Cancer Charitable Patient Care Fund through the JE Foundation, it reflects back on the number of patients and families it has been able to help and support the past 22 years. These funds have allowed Methodist Jennie Hospital patients to continue the treatments they may have stopped due to limited or no insurance.
Through the generosity and support of donors, the Cancer Charitable Patient Care Fund is available to assist these patients by paying for medications, treatments and deductibles, as well as everyday living expenses such as groceries, rent and gas.
