The 2025 Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend Golf Tournament and Gala are set for Saturday, August 2. Each year, Jennie Edmundson Foundation (jehfoundation.org) celebrates and honors four individuals who will share their stories of courage during their battles with cancer. This year, the foundation will honor four special individuals to be recognized at its 2025 event, Rich Belt, Kelly Dix, Danny Elliff and Gene Walter.
Since 2003, our annual Spirit of Courage events have raised over $2.3 million. One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to the Spirit of Courage Cancer Center Charitable Patient Care Fund, which assists uninsured and underinsured patients who need help covering expenses associated with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. This fund helps patients by covering the costs of medications, treatments, and deductibles, as well as everyday living expenses such as groceries, rent, and gas. Without this type of financial help, many vulnerable members of our community would need to forgo vital treatments and/or medications.
