Open Door Mission (www.opendoormission.org) is looking for businesses, groups, individuals, and families to host toy drives and food drives this holiday season.
With the price of gas, groceries and overall living expenses going up, Open Door Mission will be helping more people in our community struggling to make ends meet during the holiday season. You can help by hosting a Turkey N Fixins Food drive for Thanksgiving or Project Santa Toy Drive for Christmas. Food items needed for the food drive include turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and canned fruit. The toy drive is looking for a variety of items including play doh, toddler toys, board games, and puzzles. You can also make an impact by shopping Open Door Mission’s Amazon Wish List or by hosting a Virtual Drive. Even just sharing the wishlist online makes a huge impact.
