HFS Senior Center Gets Ready for Prom
It’s prom season for the young and young at heart! The 16th annual Heartland Family Service (heartlandfamilyservice.org) Senior Prom will be held on Sunday, April 17th at The Field Club, located at 3615 Woolworth Avenue in Omaha. The event will pair the teens of the Junior Friends society with those in our community over 55 years of age for an old-fashioned dinner dance. Seniors will be treated to dinner, flowers, traditional prom pictures and nostalgic music. This year’s king and queen also will be crowned. For the many seniors who never had the opportunity to attend their high school prom, the Senior Prom is a chance to get all gussied up — or wear something more casual if they prefer — grab their favorite gal or pal and swing to the beats of yesteryear.
Tickets: $10 (RSVP required) Reservations: (402) 552-7480 or KSides@HeartlandFamilyService.org
