Hero’s Encore (herosencore.org), a Nebraska-based nonprofit serving Veterans, First Responders and Transitioning Service Members through music, is expanding its instructional team as the organization continues to grow across the Omaha metro.
The organization is currently seeking volunteer acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass instructors to support its structured Peer-to-Performer program, which guides participants through music instruction, songwriting and live performance.
Hero’s Encore provides curriculum, guidance and support, allowing musicians at a range of experience levels to step confidently into a teaching role. Musicians with diverse backgrounds—including those who play by ear or outside of formal training—are encouraged to apply.
As community engagement and program participation continue to increase in 2026, the organization is building a strong team of instructors committed to mentorship, consistency and service.
