Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) will be hosting a Family Block Party on Saturday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2021 U St., in South Omaha.
This free event includes waterslides, a bounce house, live music, outdoor games, free food, giveaways from local vendors, firetruck tours, Storm Chasers Mascots, a sports camp for kids and so much more! Come with your family and invite your friends. Take the cue, it’s true, there are lots of fun things to do at the Heartland Hope Mission Family Block Party!

Heartland Hope Mission is a faith-based organization that is more than a pantry and dedicated to helping families achieve self-sufficiency. They provide clients with a week’s worth of food, along with clothing, diapers, job resources and community referrals to empower them to make positive changes in their lives. They also offer case-management, senior pantry deliveries, rural outreach, crisis response, additional resources for new or expecting mothers and a holiday program that provides around 4,000 children with new toys at Christmas!
