Heartland Hope Mission to Host “A Brunch of Love” Open House February 14
Join Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, for “A Brunch of Love” Open House at their south Omaha pantry. This event is free to attend and brunch is complimentary. This is a great networking event where anyone can meet Heartland Hope’s CEO, Pastor Chelsea Salifou, along with other Heartland Hope Mission staff members. They will provide a mouthwatering Valentine’s Day brunch, offer tours of their building, and offer information about their services, volunteer opportunities, and other ways you can get involved at Heartland Hope Mission. Heartland Hope Mission will also be running their Share the Love Campaign through the month of February. A gift of $14 or more will help provide meals to families in need in the community, and donors will have their names added to the donor wall at the south Omaha location and website.
Heartland Hope Mission operates one of the largest food pantries in the state but is “more than a pantry,” as they also help families work toward self-sufficiency. They primarily serve working poor families and those who may be facing a crisis situation by providing a week’s supply of food, clothing, diapers, job resources, and community referrals.
To secure a seat for the brunch and open house, RSVP on the Heartland Hope website at HeartlandHopeMission.org by Tuesday, February 11. Like Heartland Hope Mission’s Facebook page (@HeartlandHopeMission), or follow them on LinkedIn (@heartland-hope-mission) to stay up to date on all the great work they are doing.
