Heartland Hope Mission Seeks Support for Locals in Need this Thanksgiving
With the holiday season just around the corner, Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) is preparing to serve many families struggling to make ends meet this Thanksgiving. Heartland Hope Mission is requesting donations to provide over 1,500 families and 6,000 individuals with a frozen turkey or ham, as well as sides and desserts to prepare a Thanksgiving meal at home. You can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need by donating or signing up to volunteer for the holidays at HeartlandHopeMission.org.
Heartland Hope Mission serves working poor families and those who may be facing a crisis situation with a week’s supply of food, clothing, diapers, job resources, and community referrals. Parents or legal guardians who need help with Christmas gifts for their children can register in the month of November at either of the Heartland Hope Mission pantries. Families in need of a Thanksgiving pantry can come to their South O or Millard pantries November 13 through 23 during their normal pantry hours. For pantry hours and to learn more about volunteering, visit HeartlandHopeMission.org or call (402) 733-1904. Be sure to like and follow Heartland Hope Mission on Facebook or Instagram (@HeartlandHopeMission) and LinkedIn (@Heartland Hope Mission) to keep up-to-date on all the great work they are doing in the community!
