Heartland Hope Mission Seeks Donations of Winter Coats for People of All Ages and Sizes

The Heartland Hope Mission (hearlandhopemission.org) is seeking increased donations of winter coats for children and adults of all ages and sizes, as the need at this time of the year is tremendous and Heartland Hope Mission provides clothing to their clients at no cost. They accept donations of new or gently used coats at both the south Omaha pantry (2021 U St.) or the Millard pantry (5321 S 139 Plaza) during our pantry times. Heartland Hope Mission also has volunteer shifts available for the month of January. Volunteers are needed to distribute food, clothing and hygiene products.

Heartland Hope Mission operates one of the largest food pantries in the state, but is More than a Pantry as they help families work toward self-sufficiency. They primarily serve working poor families and those who may be facing a crisis situation with a week’s supply of food, clothing, diapers, job resources, and community referrals. To stay up-to-date about all the great work they are doing, , visit hearlandhopemission.org, or follow them on Facebook (@HearlandHopeMission) or LinkedIn (@Heartland Hope Mission).
