Heartland Hope Mission Presents Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon April 4

Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) will be hosting their annual volunteer appreciation luncheon on Saturday, April 4. Each year, Heartland Hope selects a new theme for the luncheon. This year, guests of honor will come with their boots, spurs, cowboy hats, and bandannas for: Yeehaw! A Volunteer Shindig. Over 100 volunteers will enjoy a burger bar buffet and have fun roasting marshmallows on their tables’ campfire centerpieces. In addition, prizes, games, photo ops, and an awards ceremony will make for a memorable event.

Heartland Hope Mission operates one of the largest food pantries in the state, but they are “More than a Pantry” as they help families work toward self-sufficiency. They primarily serve working poor families and those who may be facing a crisis situation with a week’s supply of food, clothing, diapers, job resources, and community referrals. Like and follow Heartland Hope Mission’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages (@HeartlandHopeMission) to stay up to date on all the great work they are doing. You can become a volunteer at Heartland Hope Mission by visiting HeartlandHopeMission.org and filling out the volunteer form.
