Heartland Hope Mission Offers Week’s Supply of Food to Families During Outbreak
Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) is offering a week’s supply of food to families that are unable to work and/or have children at home due to school closures because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Pre-packed pantry boxes will be distributed to families through a drive-thru process to allow for quicker distribution and adhere to the social distancing guidelines. All other services are closed until further notice.
Heartland Hope Mission operates one of the largest food pantries in the state, but they are “More than a Pantry” as they help families work toward self-sufficiency. They primarily serve working poor families and those who may be facing a crisis situation with a week’s supply of food, clothing, diapers, job resources, and community referrals. Like and follow Heartland Hope Mission’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages (@HeartlandHopeMission) to stay up to date on all the great work they are doing.
