Heartland Hope Mission Calls for Winter Coats to Meet Demand during Winter Months
Because of the high demand for winter coats during the colder months, Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) is calling for a special effort to increase coat donations. The need for coats is particularly great, as Heartland Hope has announced that their clients can come and receive clothing at no cost. Coats for all ages and sizes are needed. Heartland Hope welcomes new or gently-used coats at either the south Omaha pantry (2021 U St.) or the Millard pantry (5321 S. 139th Plz.) during pantry times.
Heartland Hope Mission also has volunteer shifts available for the month of January. Volunteers are needed to distribute food, clothing, and hygiene products.
Heartland Hope Mission serves working poor families and those who may be facing a crisis situation by providing a week’s supply of food, clothing, diapers, job resources, and community referrals. For more information on donating coats, please email Renae at Renae@HeartlandHopeMission.org.
