Heartland Family Service to Host 2nd Annual “Strengthen Our Survivors” Event
Join Heartland Family Service (HeartlandFamilyService.org) as they host their second annual Strengthen Our Survivors brunch and artisan vendor fair on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at Oak Hills Country Club in Omaha, located at 12325 Golfing Green Dr. All proceeds will benefit their domestic violence/sexual assault program, including the Safe Haven concealed emergency shelter. Individual tickets are $40, and sponsorship opportunities start at $300. If you would like to attend, RSVP by March 20. Sponsorship commitments are due March 8.
The mission of Heartland Family Service is to strengthen individuals and families in the community through education, counseling, and support services. Founded in 1875, Heartland Family Service currently serves more than 52,000 individuals of all ages each year from more than 15 locations in east central Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Their 50 programs provide critical human services to the individuals and families who ultimately shape the future of our community in the following focus areas: child and family well-being; counseling and prevention; and housing, safety, and financial stability.
