Heartland Family Service to Host 16th Annual “Strike a Chord” Gala on June 26
Heartland Family Service (heartlandfamilyservice.org) welcomes you to join them for their 16th Annual “Strike a Chord” Gala on Friday, June 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs.
The 16th annual Heartland Family Service “Strike a Chord” Gala will be bodacious! The event will take you back to the 80s to help support vulnerable children, individuals, and families in southwest Iowa. This event is like, totally righteous, and it doesn’t matter what you wear (big hair, faded denim, and neon encouraged) – just as long as you are there! Don’t stop believin’ in helping those in need in our community!
All proceeds from the “Strike a Chord” Gala will benefit Heartland Family Service programs in southwest Iowa, including their K-12 Therapeutic School for students with major mental health diagnoses; Homeless Services programs for families experiencing homelessness; professional mental health counseling services for children and their parents; and prevention, education, and treatment for those struggling with substance use and problem gambling.
Founded in 1875, Heartland Family Service currently serves over 52,000 individuals of all ages each year from over 15 locations in east central Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
