Heartland Family Service to Host 2017 Carnival of Love Gala

The Heartland Family Service Friends Guild invites you to revel in Rio at the Heartland Family Service “Carnival of Love” Gala (heartlandfamilyservice.org) on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Embassy Suites-La Vista.

Enjoy appetizers, cocktails, casino games, silent and live auctions, a raffle and dinner at this casual-attire event. Guests are encouraged to wear jeans and bling!

This year’s “Carnival of Love” Gala co-chairs are Julie Gibson-Beier and JoAnn Gould. The honorary chairs are Kacey and Joe Lempka. Melissa Steffes is the Friends Guild President.

All funds raised will support Heartland Family Service’s mission to strengthen individuals and families in our community. Through a video presentation during the evening’s program, guests will experience the journey of a former Heartland Family Service client who found her path to a better tomorrow with help from proceeds at this award-winning event. In 2013 and 2014, the “Carnival of Love” was voted Best Event Over 500 by readers of metroMAGAZINE, and Best Theme in 2015.
