Grief’s Journey Moves Majority of Operations to Online Format as Safety Precaution

Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, Grief’s Journey (griefsjourney.org) has made the decision to move all programs online and to reschedule upcoming special events and fundraisers for the health and well-being of the greater community. As an organization committed to emotional well-being and helping people live their best lives following a death, serious illness, injury, or other unimaginable loss of someone important to them, Grief’s Journey wants to prioritize the health and emotional wellbeing of their staff, program participants, and volunteers.

If you are currently a program participant or volunteer, you will be contacted by one of Grief’s Journey’s program manager or coordinators with instructions on how to participate in online support group sessions. Their phone lines and registration systems will be maintained for the duration of the situation. New participants are always welcome!

Grief’s Journey will still conduct this spring’s three-day facilitator training in an online format. Training registrants should have received special instructions and emailed materials. Rapidly approaching special events such as the upcoming Spring Family Day at Nelson Mandela Elementary School and a handful of other fundraising events are being rescheduled.

Grief’s Journey is a safe, welcoming place where children, teens, and adults can go to receive emotional support, access to mental health resources, and hope. For more information and updates, go to griefsjourney.org. You can also contact (402) 502 2773 / info@griefsjourney.org.
