Grief’s Journey Announces Free Program Dates for 2019

Grief’s Journey’s calendar of free grief support programs has been announced for 2019 and is now available online. In addition, Grief’s Journey is currently accepting new client registrations for their free bereavement, illness, and injury support programs, which began this month at the Grief’s Journey central facility, 7811 Farnam Dr. in Omaha.

Family-oriented, kid-centered, teen-focused, or adults only, you’ll find Grief’s Journey offers a program to support you in almost any grieving situation. All programs are free, but registration in required in advance.

Carefully measured outcomes indicate that the programs of Grief’s Journey effectively move young people and their caregivers to health and resilience. As the region’s cornerstone for grief support, Grief’s Journey provides free peer support groups and camps as well as training, education, and consultation throughout Nebraska and Iowa.

Grief’s Journey exists so that no one has to walk their grief journey alone. Since 2001, the agency has provided a welcoming, safe place for individuals and families to offer each other hope and support.

The agency relies on charitable contributions, special event income, and volunteerism to support its free programs. For more information, visit www.griefsjourney.org, or contact Anica Marcum at (402) 502-2773 / amarcum@griefsjourney.org.
