Greater Omaha Cage Bird Society’s Fall Bird Fair Set for September 22

The Greater Omaha Cage Bird Society’s (www.greateromahacagebirdsociety.org) Fall Bird Fair is Sunday, September 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Grass Wagon Event Center, 110 S. 29th St., Council Bluffs. Adult admission is $4.

What’s a Bird Fair? It’s a one-stop-shop to purchase companion (pet) birds, from Finches to Macaws, along with birdcages, bird toys, bird food, and bird accessories directly from breeders or vendors. These one-day events are held twice a year and bring in bird breeders and vendors from across the Midwest and beyond.

The Greater Omaha Cage Bird Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves to educate their members and the public on the special needs of companion birds. They have a very active foster and adoption programs, taking in unwanted birds, rehabilitating and rehoming them.
