Angels Among Us will hold their Fall Gala, “An Evening With Angels,” on Friday, November 1st. The event, normally attended by 350 people, hopes to raise $100,000 to support approximately 25 families with children battling cancer.
Families having to balance work and their child’s treatment schedules often find themselves relying on less income as more time must be devoted to the care of their loved one. Angels Among Us not only provides financial assistance, but also fosters a sense of community and provides needed resources and information.
WOWT’S Malorie Maddox will MC “An Evening With Angels,” which will take place at the Embassy Suites in the Old Market. Registration, cocktails and a Silent Auction will begin at 5:30pm. Dinner is at 7:00pm, and will be followed by a Live Auction.
