Earth Day Omaha Coalition to Host All-Day Celebration for Earth Day on April 13

In honor of Earth Day on April 22, the Earth Day Omaha Coalition will host its 30th annual Earth Day Omaha (earthdayomaha.org) event on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Elmwood Park. This event acts as a showcase for the many charitable scientific and educational efforts that advocate for sustainable environmental practices and lifestyles. There are over 100 exhibitors and vendors from areas of non-profit, business, governmental organizations, community groups, and schools scheduled for this year’s event.

Earth Day Omaha’s main stage will host a variety of musical acts and yoga. The 2019 lineup includes Mesonjixx, Yoga Rocks the Park, Ojai, Nation, Michael Murphy, and the awards for Friend of the Environment. The event will also feature free tree climbing, valet bike parking, electronics recycling, an electric vehicle display, and a beer garden, science zone, and food court!
