Date Set for Corn Belt Summer Collegiate Baseball League’s Annual Fundraiser

The date has been set for the Corn Belt Summer Collegiate Baseball League’s (www.CornBeltLeague.com) annual fundraiser—a charity golf tournament to benefit the league’s nonprofit arm, MVP4Life. Please mark your calendars for May 30, 2020, with a 2 p.m. shotgun start at Dodge Riverside Golf Club in Council Bluffs, IA. The organization is currently looking for golfers, hole sponsors, and tournament sponsors, along with silent auction items.

The Corn Belt Summer Collegiate Baseball League is one of the fastest-growing summer collegiate baseball leagues in the country. College players from all over the country come to develop their game. The talent level of these players bring so much excitement to the community, and through MVP4Life, these aspiring MLB athletes serve as mentors and role models to the youth in the Omaha area. With the league’s expansion plans for the 2020 season and beyond, fundraising efforts are more important than ever.

The Corn Belt Summer Collegiate Baseball League is asking businesses and community leaders to share in their vision of becoming the top developmental baseball summer league, furthering the positive impact it has on the Omaha community. Learn how to get involved by contacting Teri Cissell at (402) 598-4998 or Joe Siwa at (402) 669-2892. More information about the league, MVP4Life, and the charity golf tournament can be found online at www.CornBeltLeague.com.
