The 4th annual Prudential Ambassador’s Dancing with the Omaha Stars event was held on February 9th in the Peter Kiewit Ballroom at the Century Link Center.   This was a sold-out event with 700 people in attendance and all of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity.  This event featured 16 local celebrity dancers including Tommie Frazier, Mayor Jim Suttle, Patrick Ricketts, and a variety of news and television reporters from local stations.  Professional instructors from Omaha Ballroom Dance Studio taught all the participants how to tango, foxtrot, swing, and salsa free of charge.  This event raised over $45,000 which will be donated to the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides a variety of programs and events free of charge for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
