Youth Emergency Services (www.yesomaha.org) is set to host its annual fundraising event, Dance for a Chance, on Friday, July 31st at the Omar Bakery Events Center, 4383 Nicholas Street in Omaha. For the event, Youth Emergency Services (YES) recruits local “celebrities” and partners them with a professional instructor to perform a short routine in front of a panel of judges and a crowd of YES supporters for their chance at the mirror ball trophy. In addition to dancing, the evening includes food, drinks, a silent auction, and raffle. Mobile bidding will also be available, allowing guests to bid on auction items, purchase raffle tickets, and vote for dancers on your smartphone. To find out more about this year’s event, presented by C&A Industries, please visit www.yesomaha.org/dance or find the organization on Facebook at www.facebook.com/yesomaha.

It is estimated there are over 300 youth who are homeless every night in Omaha. For over 40 years, Youth Emergency Services has been providing programs and services to homeless and at-risk youth in the Omaha area. Through YES’ programs, youth are able to access resources that empower them to become self-sufficient.
