CSI Guild Presents Touch-A-Truck

The Child Saving Institute Guild (ChildSaving.org) will host the 11th annual family-friendly Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, September 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be held in the First Data/UNO parking lots, just south of 69th & Pacific in Omaha.

This exciting CSI Guild’s “friend-raiser” is a FREE event for the entire family, where children can see and climb on “real life” vehicles! Kids, accompanied by their parent(s) or guardian(s), can explore emergency and military vehicles, semi-trucks, cranes, race cars and other commercial vehicles and talk to the people who operate them. Other activities will include face-painting, prizes, bouncy tents, clowns and more.

Touch-A-Truck Chairs are Heather Vanourney and Mikki Chullino. The event is sponsored by KETV Channel 7, Runza, Thrasher, Oriental Trading Company, First National Bank NEST Program, and First Data.

Child Saving Institute is dedicated to the prevention, intervention and healing of child abuse, neglect and abandonment. For 125 years, CSI has met the changing needs of metro area children based on the belief that ALL children should have homes where hope is kindled and dreams can be achieved.
