Cross Training Seeks Vehicle Donations to Help Struggling Adults Get on a Career Path
The Cross Training Center (CTC); (www.crosstc.com) is seeking donations of junkers, clunkers, and classic cars—whether they’re in great condition or on their last leg— to help under-educated adults get the training and experience they need to get employed and on a career path. All vehicles donated to the nonprofit Cross Training Center are used for training purposes only and can be invaluable in helping families improve their access to food, water, and basic needs. As students expand their skills and gain vocational experience, they also earn certifications that can help them hone in on a career.
CTC accepts any kind of vehicle, regardless of its condition or whether it’s running or not, including cars, trucks, buses, RV’s, campers, trailers, motorcycles, farm and yard tractors, small-engine units, quads, work trucks, and anything else. They will provide a free towing service to pick up donated vehicles when necessary, and donations are fully tax-deductible, based on the market value of the vehicle.
The Cross Training Center provides vocational training and job experience for those who are not able to attain a job due to challenging backgrounds and circumstances. CTC empowers and equips those who have been incarcerated or homeless, involved in gangs or substance abuse, have mental or emotional disorders, have been a victim of human trafficking or domestic violence, or live in poverty for numerous reasons. If you are interested in making a vehicle donation, volunteering, or learning more about the Cross Training Center, please call (402) 590-2100 or visit www.crosstc.com.
