On Saturday, August 22, Connected Roots Care Center (crccomaha.org) will be putting on their Big Dreams festival for Omaha families. There will be food trucks, a kid’s fun zone, local vendors and acts, a fun run/5k, face painting and more in Stinson Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will feature Peppa Pig and her brother George, as well as comedy disco dancers KOO KOO. There will be many chances to have interactive experiences and discovery, all designed with the intention of creating a welcoming and inclusive experience.
Connected Roots Care Center is always searching for volunteers; it takes a village to bring an event like this to life. Please visit tinyurl.com/VolunteerCRCC to register as a volunteer.
