Completely KIDS (completelykids.org) is inviting the Omaha community to help make the holiday season brighter for local children through its annual Holiday Gift Drive, running October 12 through December 4.
Each year, Completely KIDS serves more than 3,500 children and families throughout the Omaha community. For many of the children the organization serves, a donated holiday gift may be the only gift they receive this year.
Individuals, families, businesses and community organizations can sponsor one child or as many children as they would like. Businesses and organizations looking to make an even bigger impact can also sponsor an entire grade or school!
Sponsors are matched with children and receive their individual wish lists, making it easy to select a personal and meaningful gift. The recommended gift amount is $25–$30 per child.
In addition to gift sponsors, Completely KIDS is seeking volunteers to help bring the holiday season to life. Volunteer opportunities include wrapping donated presents and helping staff holiday parties for children participating in Completely KIDS programs.
The Holiday Gift Drive is an opportunity for the community to come together and ensure local children feel celebrated and cared for during the holiday season.
