Reservations are being accepted for the Completely KIDS Guild-sponsored 2014 Author Luncheon, featuring New York Times best-selling author Rosalind Wiseman. The luncheon is a fundraiser with proceeds benefiting Omaha nonprofit Completely KIDS.

Wiseman is an internationally recognized expert on children, teens, parenting, bullying, social justice and ethical leadership. She works with students, educators, parents, counselors, coaches and administrators to create communities based on the belief that each person has a responsibility to treat themselves and others with dignity.

The Author Luncheon will be held on April 2 at Hilton Omaha, 1001 Cass St., with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m., and the luncheon and speaker to begin at noon. The presenting sponsor is First National Bank. Event chairs are Kate Brownrigg and Leslie Mayo, with honorary chairmen Donna and Dave Erker. During the luncheon, Completely KIDS Advisory Board Member Lloyd Meyer and Completely KIDS Board Member Todd Scholz will receive The Men Behind Completely KIDS awards for their contributions to the agency.

Reservations for the event must be made by March 26 online at completelykids.org or by contacting Blair Bonnesen at (402) 397-5809. Cost is $75 for patron reservations, which includes a signed book and $50 for individual reservations. Complimentary self-parking will be available.
