The Community Foundation for Western Iowa (givewesterniowa.org) is your trusted partner in philanthropy. They are proud to connect and convene community members in the region, and host learning opportunities that strengthen networks and grow region-wide outcomes. You are invited to join them this spring as they host the following events in the region:
They are excited to launch a new Nonprofit Breakfast Series presented by InoTek! The three-part learning series will feature subject-matter experts and topics that will help nonprofits thrive in 2026 and beyond! April’s session is a conversation around the “Power of Volunteers” as the region prepares for Do Good Days; May’s event topic is SHARE Iowa wish-lists, in-kind donations and summer giving; and August will highlight year-end giving. The events are held at Seven One Two and space is very limited!
The Community Foundation for Western Iowa will host Make Communities Happen, a one-day event on helping communities move beyond planning and into coordinated action. They invite city and county officials, nonprofit and organizational leaders, and community stakeholders to attend and address the implementation gap. The Community Foundation is hosting three options to accommodate schedules: April 21, 22 and 23.
