Child Saving Institute to Host Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser September 7
On Saturday, September 7, Child Saving Institute (www.childsaving.org) will host its 14th Annual Touch-A-Truck “friend-raiser” in the First Data/UNO parking lots just south of 69th and Pacific Streets. Touch-A-Truck will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This free, family-friendly event allows children to explore and investigate vehicles of all types—construction, public service, emergency, utility, transportation, delivery and more. Children interact with their favorite vehicles, learn about the importance of safety, and meet the “heroes” that operate these vehicles. Other activities will include face-painting, prizes, bouncy tents, food, and clowns. For more information, or if you or your business would like to help sponsor Touch-A-Truck, please contact Anna Willey at firstname.lastname@example.org / (402) 504-3664.
