Child Saving Institute Joins Mutual of Omaha to Support Read Across America Day
Child Saving Institute (CSI) (www.childsaving.org) is one of five local organizations that recently partnered with Mutual of Omaha to support Read Across America Day. On March 2, nearly 70 Mutual of Omaha employees volunteered their time to read to children across the metro area. This is the fourth consecutive year that Child Saving Institute has partnered with Mutual of Omaha for Read Across America Day to encourage children to enjoy reading more.
CSI’s Early Childhood Education Centers, located on 45th and Dodge and on the College of Saint Mary’s campus, provide nurturing care and learning to more than 300 children annually. Both centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and participate in the Nebraska Step Up to Quality program. Each center also participates in activities, such as Read Across America Day, to enhance the learning and development of the children enrolled.
