Carole’s House of Hope Celebrates 1st Anniversary
Carole’s House of Hope (CHH; www.caroleshouseofhope.org) is celebrating their one-year anniversary at the former Children’s Hospital, Carolyn Scott Rainbow House! CHH is a longer-term transitional living program where young women and their children can thrive. CHH provides support with job training, financial literacy coursework, mental health services, wellness, and other resources necessary to build a successful life for themselves and their children.
CHH fills the growing and unmet needs in the community/state system of cyclical homelessness and supports the young women as they pursue a GED/higher education, develop and build self-esteem, learn new social and parenting skills and other independent living skills, as they become contributing members to our community and society.
The business community surrounding the CHH campus has been very supportive, assisting the ladies with employment opportunities, healthy daycare options and other avenues of growth. CHH would like to extend thanks to the many partners, donors and those in the Loveland neighborhood who have made this first year not only successful but memorable.
