Camp Summergold 2020 Arts and Science Camp Registration Now Open

Registration for Camp Summergold’s (www.campsummergold.com) 2020 arts and science camp and t-shirt design contest is now open. The summer session will run from May 31 to June 6 at the new Camp Summergold location in Gretna. The summer theme is TEAMWORK, and Summergold campers will explore the theme through visual and performing arts while looking at how TEAMWORK is essential in the natural world.

This one week residential summer camp is for girls only, ages 10–17. Camp Summergold is currently seeking counselors who are 19 years of age or older. 2020 is their seventh year providing a mentor-driven summer camp experience where girls can enjoy learning and soaking up the sun in the great outdoors.

Camp Summergold is a resident summer camping experience where girls explore science and arts learning mixed with the campfires and swimming of a traditional camp. The mission of Camp Summergold is to bring together a diverse community of girls in a fun and safe environment, encourage both independence and teamwork, foster meaningful relationships, and build confidence while exploring a variety of interests and new ideas as girls create memories that will last a lifetime.

Camp Summergold’s new camp home is the Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center located in Gretna. Registration information and program details can be found on the website at www.campsummergold.com. Call Judy Hart at (402) 474-2206 with questions.
