Buffalo Women, A Black Cowgirl Musical Dramedy to Present at BLUEBARN

The regional premiere of Buffalo Women, A Black Cowgirl Musical Dramedy will present at the BLUEBARN Theater (bluebarn.org) from May 26 – June 19. The show is written by Beaufield Berry with music by J. Isaiah Smith. Buffalo Women will be BLUEBARN’s final show of their 33rd season.

The first Juneteenth. New lives and new freedoms. True grit and good trouble. From the playwright who brought us 2019’s ground breaking original production Red Summer comes a tale of hidden figures leading extraordinary lives on the frontier in 1865. Don’t miss this gun-slinging, toe-tapping, wild west adventure. Buffalo Women will star Brandi Smith, TammyRa’, Jorden Brooks, Breanna Carodine, and Tiffany White-Welchin. The musical is directed by Echelle Childers with music direction by Justin Payne. Tickets go on sale on Monday, May 2 at bluebarn.org.
