This annual charity boxing event, hosted by the Omaha Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO and United Way of the Midlands (UWM, UnitedWayMidlands.org), will take place on Wednesday, November 22, at Liberty First Credit Union Arena.
During Blue Collar Boxing, local labor union members will face off in the boxing ring for charity – with proceeds donated to the Nebraska Center for Workforce Development and Education (NCWDE) and United Way of the Midlands to support their work in our community.

Partners since 1941, the relationship between the AFL-CIO and United Way is built upon a mutual desire to create a better, stronger and more vibrant community. Because of their shared commitment to our community, the organizations created this amateur boxing event in 2019.
