Connected Roots Care Center (CRCC) invites the Omaha community to join Big Dreams, a free inclusive family festival taking place on Saturday, August 22, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village.

Created to celebrate children of all abilities and the families who support them, Big Dreams will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, community resources, food vendors and opportunities for connection. Special guests include Peppa Pig and George, along with family music sensation Koo Koo.

The event will also include the Race for Big Dreams, featuring a community 5K, family fun walk, and Lap of Champions, recognizing children and families who overcome challenges every day.

For 35 years, CRCC has served the Omaha area through inclusive education, specialized nursing rehab therapy, and behavioral health services for children and young adults from birth through age 21. Big Dreams reflects the organization’s commitment to creating a community where every child feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to thrive.

The Big Dreams festival is free to attend, while registration fees apply for the Race for Big Dreams. Community members, businesses and organizations are encouraged to attend and celebrate the power of inclusion while supporting local families.
