Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands Waiting List Grows in Summer

As summer approaches, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands’ (BBBSM) (bbbsomaha.org) waiting list of Littles grows immensely. Summer is the time when they need mentors the most, so BBBSM is hoping Omaha Gives! 2019 will jumpstart a successful summer. The agency is encouraging Bigs and BBBSM supporters to create cheer pages and share their stories. Donations to BBBSM clear the path for Littles’ biggest possible futures by matching them with a Big who will ignite their potential.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands strives for all youth in the program to reach their full potential. A Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple provides youth with a sense of safety and security, emotional support, and social skill promotion. Bigs and Littles are matched based on common interests, so they can have the benefit of doing activities together that they both enjoy. With a Big by their side, more Littles are discovering who they are and what they can achieve in life. BBBSM is working to clear the path for our youth’s biggest possible futures.
