Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands Celebrates 60 Years with Back to School Picnic
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands (BBBS; bbbsomaha.org) will host a back to school picnic to celebrate their organization’s 60 year anniversary in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area! The event will take place on Saturday, August 10 at 11 a.m. BBBS will not only have current Bigs and Littles in attendance, but will also have alumni and donors there celebrating the remarkable milestone serving those in our community.
A Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple provides youth with a sense of safety and security, emotional support, and social skill promotion. With a Big by their side, more Littles are discovering who they are and what they can achieve in life. Big Brothers Big Sisters is working to clear the path for our youth’s biggest possible futures.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to serve youth who need mentors the most and looks forward to continuing their 60th anniversary celebration throughout 2019. The agency hopes to continue defending the potential of youth for 60 more years to come!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands works hard to protect and guide the children who need it most.
