Bags of Fun Omaha (BagsofFunOmaha.org) is excited to announce that they have now delivered 162 bags to children receiving treatment in Omaha so far in 2022.
Newer to Omaha as of 2019, Bags of Fun’s mission is to deliver a “Bag of Fun” to every child fighting a long-term or life-threatening condition. They exist to bring joy, laughter, and relief to every child whose health and happiness is threatened and/or compromised.
A Bag of Fun is a customized backpack carefully and intentionally created specifically for the child receiving it based on their age, cognitive, and developmental needs. These bags are filled with therapeutic, educational, manipulative, and comforting items and activities to help the child recipient play their way through treatment for their condition.
Bag of Fun Omaha hosts many fundraising and engagement events throughout the year to further their mission and impact in the Omaha community.
