Bags of Fun Announces Postponement of Bags for Bags Corn Hole Tournament

Bags of Fun Omaha (bagsoffun.org) sadly announced postponement of their 2021 Bags for Bags fundraising corn-hole tournament, originally on tap for January 21. They will move the date to sometime in the spring when they can hold it at an outdoor venue, where it’s easier to meet COVID restrictions for safe gatherings. That means you have a little extra time to get your team together and practice up for an afternoon of drinks, food, music, silent auction, and some intense corn-hole bracket play! The event is an important fundraiser to help Bags of Fun continue providing joy, laughter, and relief to sick children in the fight of their lives, so watch for updates about the date and plan to participate!

Meantime, you can still pick your sponsorship opportunities in advance. Choose from Title Sponsor ($5,000), Bar Sponsor ($2,500), Bags for Bags Sponsor ($1,000), and Champion Sponsors ($500). Individual registration, including food and drinks, is $75, and team registration is $125.

The mission of Bags of Fun is to deliver a bag filled with toys and games crafted to every sick child in hospitals whose health and happiness are both compromised and threatened. The contents are based on each patient’s likes, favorites, age, and diagnosis. Sometimes, for example, a child will ask for slippers and a nightlight, while others might ask for Olaf from Frozen. Though all different, each bag contains fun and laughter! Bags of Fun is independent of hospitals, as each Bag of Fun is funded by the Gabby Krause Foundation. The bags are essential tools that bring the power of play into the hospitals. To learn more or register for the Bags for Bags tournament, visit bagsoffun.org.
