Autism Action Partnership (autismaction.org) will be hosting an Interview Skills Workshop for adults with autism from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 28th. Interviews can be stressful, but being prepared makes all the difference. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn what to expect during the hiring process and practice the skills you need to interview with confidence.
A few important parts of the workshop include walking through the hiring process, watching a live interview demonstration, practicing answering interview questions and practicing your skills with mock interviews. To end the workshop, Live Well Dress Well will help each participant choose professional interview clothing, and everyone will leave with a free interview outfit. By the end of the day, you’ll have the skills, confidence and professional attire to make a great first impression at your next interview.
