Autism Action Partnership (AAP) (autismaction.org) supports adults with autism as they build independent and fulfilling lives through its Prosperity Programs. Whether someone is looking for meaningful employment, a sense of community, or practical life skills, AAP provides programs that help them grow. Prosper Academy is one of those programs, offering educational classes that promote autonomy by building skills related to independent
living, workplace readiness, and social connection.
Prosper Academy is designed to help autistic adults build skills for greater independence. The curriculum features courses and workshops on a range of practical topics, each emphasizing hands-on learning. This
approach allows participants to practice new skills in a supportive environment that builds confidence and encourages personal growth. Through these courses, Prosper Academy empowers autistic adults to pursue their personal and professional goals, providing tools and resources to help them navigate life with increased autonomy and resilience.
They are currently offering class registration for the 2026 virtual and in-person winter and spring sessions. These courses focus on professional and personal development, with classes covering job search and workplace skills, the basics of budgeting and independent living, and how to interact effectively with others. Financial aid
opportunities are available with verification of an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. You can register for classes today on their website.
