The Nebraska Chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD Nebraska) announces the 2013 celebration of the commitment to workplace learning known as Employee Learning Week will be held the week of December 2-6. Each year companies and organizations plan meaningful opportunities which highlight and leverage the importance as to how learning and achieving organizational results are correlated. The local chapter will be hosting two free Employee Learning Week programs. First, on Tuesday, December 3, ASTD Nebraska will present Biggest L&D Challenges and then on Thursday, December 5, The Biggest Professional Development Opportunities. Each program will be held free of charge beginning at 12:00 noon at the Millard Public Library, 13214 Westwood Ln, in Omaha. ASTD Nebraska has over 300 members representing over 100 companies in the Omaha metro area.
