Archdiocese of Omaha Honors ACD Members

The Archbishop’s Committee for Development (ACD) honored three couples at the 42nd Annual ACD Recognition Dinner on Thursday, June 8 at Omaha Country Club. Archbishop George Lucas and Archbishop Emeritus Elden Francis Curtiss were among the 125 in attendance.

The ACD was established in 1972 and currently has 200 members. The ACD provides leadership and expertise to the Archbishop of Omaha on quality Catholic education, stewardship, estate planning, development and finance.

Archbishop George J. Lucas gave special recognition to Quarter Century Honorees Mary Jo and Dick Coffey for their twenty-five years of service on the ACD. He also gave tribute to Special Honorees Krista and Mickey Anderson and Betsy and Bob Reed for the impact they have made on the archdiocese. The generous support and dedication of these three couples has greatly benefitted their parishes, Catholic schools and other ministries of the Catholic Church.

Past award recipients attending the evening’s celebration included Mary Joy Anderson, Marilyn and Jerry Buresh, Archbishop Elden Curtiss, Msgr.
