Sadoff Iron & Metal will host a “Green Team Roundtable” meeting and tour of their new 13 acre scrap recycling facility in Lincoln Airpark West, opened October 2013.  The event will be held on Wednesday, April 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and includes a zero-waste lunch. Open to the public, the cost is $10 or $8 for WasteCap Nebraska members. Pre-registration and payment must be made by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at www.wastecapne.org/greenteams/.

Sadoff’s new location is a repurposed brownfield site previously used by the U.S. Air Force as a fuel storage area, and was built in partnership with the Lincoln Airport Authority.  The facility includes DEQ certified storm water and environmental compliance features, security cameras and radiation detection.  Sadoff added scrap metal processing capabilities and technologies to enhance the company’s ability to service scrap generators and consumers.

Founded in 1947, Sadoff Iron & Metal Company is a third-generation, family-owned scrap metal recycling company with locations in Lincoln and Omaha.   For more information about Sadoff Iron & Metal, please visit www.sadoff.com.
