Tech nonprofit AIM Institute (aiminstitute.org) is committed to helping build and connect the tec h community through an array of initiatives including providing tech education awareness, training and resources for youth in addition to new and experienced tech professionals. Over the next five years, the AIM Institute is committed to doubling AIM’s impact, footprint and funding.

Recently, AIM hosted an Hour of Code event at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Council Bluffs, Iowa for close to 900 students. Computer coding-related activities sparking creativity and problemsolving skills taught at the event helped introduce students to a rewarding tech career.

To further AIM’s mission of growing a strong and diverse tech community through education, career development and outreach, events such as Hour of Code align with AIM’s Youth in Tech and Youth Academies programs. Events like Hour of Code are among the youths’ first step into opening the door to the possibilities of their potential in tech.

AIM’s team of experts provides AIM Code School (accredited by the Nebraska Dept. of Education), leadership academies, one-onone coaching, customized technical training and networking tools to ensure anyone can pursue a rewarding tech career.
