AIM has recently introduced its newest event concept in collaboration with the Straight Shot startup accelerator program. AIM Speak Easies are designed to facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas by IT entrepreneurs and enterprises in an enjoyable environment in order to encourage the building of IT communities. The upcoming Speak Easies will feature national speakers, enterprise IT experts, and SaaS startups that are part of the Straight Shot startup program.  The next Speak Easy event will be held on August 8th from 4-5:30 p.m. at DJ’s Dugout, located in Aksarben Village.

The event will feature two main speakers.  Kelly Hoey is the founder and Managing Director of Women Innovate Mobile in New York City and Rick Turoczy is the co-founder and director of the Portland Incubator Experiment in Portland, Oregon. Both speakers bring their own unique outlook, style, and approach from the coasts to the Heartland to discuss high-tech marketing communications, mobile development and accelerating growth.

The Enterprise IT 20×20 presentation will be Data Mining as an Engine of Personalization with Jon LeBlanc, Principal Developer Evangelist at PayPal. Jon will cover the concepts of long-term personalization and on-demand emotional state interaction for websites, which in turn can be used as the architecture to drive commerce and personalization.

AIM is a not-for-profit community organization that promotes technology to empower people, enhance organizations and create brilliant communities.
