Abide (www.abideomaha.org) is excited to host their Back-to-School Block Party on Saturday, August 12. They invite you to their Better Together Campus near 45th and Bedford to attend the event from 5 to 7 p.m. At this free, family-friendly event, food, games, music, a dance performance and so much more will be available! School-aged children can receive a backpack filled with school supplies as they get ready to return to class. Families can also receive a food pantry box to help stretch their grocery dollars. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the party, meet your neighbors and connect with the Abide team and neighborhood Lighthouse Leaders! You don’t want to miss it!

On September 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a free conference for women of faith called “Arise” will be held on Abide’s campus at 45th & Bedford. The event will be held in the gym and include worship, speakers and a drama, along with vendors, ministry booths and food trucks.

Don’t forget to save the date for another Abide event, an annual fundraiser on October 26! More details will be announced as the event date approaches.
