Autism Action Partnership (AAP)(autismaction.org) is helping local teens build essential life skills this summer through Prosper Prep: Finance, a four-day, hands-on workshop designed for autistic students ages 16–21. Taking place June 29–July 2, the program focuses on practical money management skills including budgeting, saving and making informed financial decisions.
Prosper Prep: Finance is part of AAP’s Prosper initiative, which supports the transition to adulthood by building independence and confidence. This session builds on a previous class focused on employment, where participants explored careers, practiced job searching and interviewing and gained real-world experience in a supportive environment.
Through interactive activities and real-life scenarios, participants will strengthen skills they can use every day. Students who complete the workshop will earn a Financial Foundations Certificate.
The workshop runs Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost is $20. To register, visit prosperacademy.coursestorm.com, or contact prosperacademy@autismaction.org for more information.
